In 2002 he originated 2B Global, Inc., an import-export trading company as well as a worldwide marketing firm, and positioned the corporation to be acquired in 2006 by Dunlap-Sunbrand International, a multimillion-dollar transnational business looking to diversify its product offerings.
As a senior executive for Sprayway, Inc. from 1993 to 2005, he directly contributed to the growth of the corporation’s
annual revenue from $18 million to $62 million by establishing new international markets and opening countless key global and national accounts with corporations such as John Deere, Walmart, and Costco.
For a decade prior to 1993, educational and career developments primarily evolved through key sales focuses and strategic marketing pursuits.
Mr. Tackett attended Kalamazoo College as an economics major until 1981.
His daughter Carolyn Tackett is a 2013 graduate of Princeton University and a 2016 graduate of American University - Washington College of Law. His son Benjamin Tackett is attending Saint Gabriel College for boys in Bangkok, Thailand.
Formerly a lifelong resident of Chicago, IL. metropolitan area until 2006, he had relocated to become an active, philanthropic member of the local community in Hopkinsville, Kentucky in the area's prestigious Novadell community up until 2012. Currently resides in Clarksville, Tennessee.
